Origami Elephant by Seo Won Seon

14 October 2011

Some of my friends had the opportunity to go to the recent Pacific Coast OrigamiUSA Conference (PCOC) this year. Julia attended a folding class by Seo Won Seon (a.k.a. “redpaper”) where he taught everyone how to make a cool origami elephant. I found that during the process of making the elephant, if you invert part of the model, it looks like a dragon’s head.

To make this elephant, I used tant, a strong origami paper that makes super-crisp creases. Another group member gave me this piece of paper and now I wish I had tant paper in my own collection.
