Spread Hexagon Tessellation

This origami tessellation was a bit challenging for me at first. Now it’s one of my favorites! You can learn how to make this tessellation from Eric Gjerde’s book Origami Tessellations: Awe-Inspiring Geometric Designs.

I like this tesselation too. When you make a smalller one (center hexagon, with 6 hexagons around it) it becomes a nice decoration for a greeting card. You can also change the flaps, so it looks different.
