Kamui Mask

9 April 2013

One of my favorite books is Origami Omnibus: Paper Folding for Everybody. Why? Because it has diagrams for all skill levels. One of the diagrams is for this origami kamui mask.

In Ainu mythology, kamui is the word for a divine or spiritual being. Well, there is nothing divine about the model that I folded. Maybe I should have shot it from a different angle.
